Just to show that the early bird does still get that worm sometimes, the lucky winner of the Drenched In White art print giveaway is Celebrate Life . She was the first person to enter the giveaway, and the Random Interger Generator at random.org decided that she would be the lucky lady to hang a piece of gorgeous art on her wall!

Congratulations, CelebrateLife! I will be contacting you for your mailing information to get your print to you.

MyHandboundBooks - fabulous Canadian Etsian!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a Trunk Show online through the Etsy Labs chat. The hostess, the lovely MyHandboundBooks, moderated the event which featured a talented group of Canadian Etsy artists. There were textile artists, jewelry artists, and so much more! I was very impressed with the quality of the talent that was represented.
MyHandboundBooks was not only the admin at the event, but she also presented items from her shop. Gorgeous!
If you have not visited her shop before, do so now! Her journals are absolutely stunning, and would make wonderful holiday gifts for the student, writer, artist, businessperson or just about anybody who would appreciate a finely crafted book.
My favorite item from her shop is the Distressed Blue Leather Journal/Sketchbook. The binding is perfect and visible, and the strap closure is such a lovely and practical accent.
MyHandboundBooks is one of the artists featured in the Blog-A-Day Giveaway on Sweet Figment's blog. Check it out and enter to win one of these beautiful journals (or one of dozens of other amazing giveaway prizes!).
